Japanese...

Japanese is an extremely difficult language. My RA is taking Japanese, and he's been taking it for years...he's even lived in Japan, yet I always see him in the lounge, suffering over the grief his Japanese homework causes him. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it is for someone who is Japanese and is learning how to speak English. At least there are rules in Japanese, but in English, anything goes.

Help With Blog

I can see everyone's blog, but when I sign in, I don't know where to go to view all of them. Can somebody help me out with this? By the way, Pyo-san's blog including the names of every country's name in hiragana and katakana was pretty cool.

Learning Katakana

I have absolutely no clue what the connection between hiragana and katakana is. If someone could explain to me how the tsu and hiragana and the tsu in hiragana are similar, I'd appreciate it a lot.

Muzukasshi desu!!

I had no clue what I was getting myself into by taking Japanese. I just spoke with one of my neighbors, and he's Japanese. He began speaking so quickly, and he told me that sentences are much more complicated than the things I was doing. I kinda don't want to continue the language now, I'm satisfied enough with learning enough to get by.
